I can't even believe we are considering this but I have heard good things about this show. With tickets at $55 each and 4 adult prices and 1 kid ticket, this would be very expensive.
Just wondering from those of you that have been there if it really is worth it. Do they do any daytime school shows that we might be able to get into cheaper? Any coupons? We are looking at going April 3 or 4 if we go.

Our dc really enjoy it. Look for discount coupon once you get to Pigeon Forge. Or, if you go on a timeshare tour they may offer that as a gift. I don't know of any school shows that have been scheduled throgh any groups.
I think that they have discounts during the day, but we've never been.

The kids LOVED it and still remember it, even though they were only 2 & 4. I highly recommend it if you can afford it and definitely try to find discounts.

Well, my girls live and breathe horses. We have horses but they love anything to do with horses.

Oh my goodness, I had the best time at Dixie Stampede. I hollered and sang and in the waiting area before the show I demonstrated a Rebel Yell so I could get the drink I wanted. (my mom heard me from the next room, said she knew right off it was me doing my thing.) I scared the crap outta the folks in line with me.
Go, go, go, scream a bit for me while you're there.
My dh hated it.

WE went to the one in Branson, and it was a fun time... you have to enjoy sitting stadium style eating everything with your fingers (messy stuff like fried chicken and bbq ribs). My dd was really little at the time and stood in her seat and danced a jig the entire time... my husband thought it was way too much fun and wants to go again... to me, it was a little rowdy and a little too hee-hawish, but I would go again and take my dd becuase I know she and dh would love it.
Have fun!

Dh and ds went to the one in Branson when the dc were little. The twins were sick and I had to miss it, but they really liked it.
I say go, and have fun! Oh, Like Robin said, very much like Hee Haw.

Well, I had Hee-Haw overalls when I was about 6, does that mean I would like it?
