Pressure Cookers - what kind to get?

I think I need one. I want to make homemade broths, soups, and beans. So, I think a pressure cooker would be a good thing. What kind? Do they still blow up??

I have 2 Kuhn Rikon pressure cookers.


I like cooking with mine. A bit of a learning curve but worth it.

I don't think they blow up anymore.

I have the same kind. I was leery until I researched it and discovered that they don't blow up any more.

I also have the Kuhn Rikon brand. I make terrific soup in it. The new kinds are a lot safer than the old fashioned kind.
