Educational fun stuff

We will have a little extra to spend on school stuff this year and I was thinking of educational fun stuff. So what are your favorite things for elementary and upper elementary ages? I got the preschoolers pretty much covered.

For next year (grades 1 & 3) our fun stuff will be Muggins (math), No Stress Chess (thinking skills), Bananagrams (spelling), and Snapshots Across America (geography). Along with a Reciprocal Zoo/Museum membership.
