Teaching Textbooks - Pointers on using my new items.

I got my order. With History of the United States, Vol 2 and History of the Western Civilization, II. Do you use this as your "spine" and then teach from there or study the spine and supplement with the DVD?

Also, with math, I bought Geometry and Basic Math. Do you try to integrate or just use them as an additional math source?

Any advice or suggestions on planning please!
