I think youngest has a southern accent. (But we live in the northeast!)
He walked up to me this evening talking to me about "pops." I thought.
I asked him: "Pops?"
"No mama. PAHPS! You know... they carry oil and electricity. They're made of hot dogs in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. "
(Oh. Pipes!) It's hard to guess what he's saying, sometimes, without the background info. We borrowed this book once a couple of months ago.
