Anyone know if there are samples online for this and where they might be? I can't find them onthe IEW site. Also, what grades/ages would this be for? And lastly, do I need the TWSS to teach this?

Thanks! :)

It's for grades 3-7, but you use it for slightly above that by requiring more detail.

Some do use this without TWSS, but as one who teaches IEW in a paid co-op, I personally wouldn't do this. If you have someone close by that you can borrow TWSS from, that would be idea to get you over some of the rough spots. A friend of mine has my copy now because she's using SICC-C and has found it very helpful to watch TWSS before she begins a lesson with her teenages. You might be OK, but it will go better with TWSS.

And personally at least, I'd pick one or the other -- TOG writing or IEW. Both are very complete.
