Our computer picked up a virus and we lost everything - of course. It never occurred to me to back up the children's spelling lessons. I have the CDs to re-load so that is no problem. But, should I have the kids start at the beginning and rework all of their lessons again? They will not be happy! But if I do the lessons up to the point where they were, they will not have the misspelled words that carry over from lesson to lesson. Spelling is a weak area, especially for my dd10. She was maybe halfway through the lessons of her CD. My thought is to have them both start over, and it will be a good review. But is that too cruel? Should I just go ahead and do the lessons they have already completed?

I guess they'll have to redo them. You can always call the Calvert company and see if there is a way to bypass all the other lessons . I'm not sure because we haven't had this happen . But then you won't have the list of words missed either . I wouldn't think it would be cruel to redo them . Hey the more practice the better. If they know them then they should breeze through .
