TOG - I will have 2 dc's in each of 2 levels. Do you buy each the books?

I am thinking one set of each level will be enough but I might be wrong. Can someone give me some advice?

I am using Redesign 2 so are there certain books that it would be helpful for each dc to have their own copy? I'm trying to budget here and get the most for my money.

I have had multiple kids using the same books. I just let them know that they will both (all 3) be using book x and they need to share. I think if they know going in that it will be the case, they will be fine.

I also haven't done yr 2, but for year 1 it has worked out.

My kids share. They have to arrange their reading time around one another, and it has worked out so far.

Now, I have to decide what to buy and what to get from the library.

What we have done is if I have one copy and it is an extremely big reading assignment, we are using Yr. 4, I check another one out of the library if at all possible. That has helped a lot.
