Why does TT5 look the same as BJU 4 TOC??

Ok, so it has been my long range plan to get my dd into TT! We are doing BJU3rd right now and i was debating doing BJU 4 this year then go on to TT5 or as i see, they are coming out with TT4 this summer. But, as i was comparing the TOC in BJU 4 with that of TT5 they are almost the same. Would it work to just go into TT5 next year?? Or should i wait to see what TT4 contains? I am wondering if TT is one year behind BJU??

We had to skip 6th and go right into 7th. It seems to be a year behind (or more). We are having no problems completing 7th this year.

Take the placement test for TT. We just finished BJU 3 and dd can go directly into TT 5. I do not think it is "behind" as many claim. The material covered is similar but the difficulty level is higher. I plan to do TT 5 with my 4th grader next year

My daughter finished Saxon 54 (basic 4th grade math) and placed into TT 6 (basic 5th grade math). You'll love TT -- so easy on Mom!

Yes!
I love math and am happy to teach it but TT is working so well over here since my kids like to work independently.
