Writing Courses for homeschooler in 9th

Hi, the curriculum we are using for my homeschooler in 9th has English and Grammar and Literature. I am learning the guidelines for writing a summary for a book report but I am finding out that in high school, they should be moving to less summary and more analysis of books. I was looking for suggestions for online or DVD courses that help teach writing for high school. Anyone have outstanding programs? I really don't want to take him to any outside classes due to time out of the house already. I am a math and science person so writing is just not easy for me to help with. Any suggestions?

For the literary analysis part, IEW's Windows to the World. It addresses that very question--no more book reports--and teaches how to write a literary analysis essay. WTW is a semester course in itself.
