G3 History classes?

I was originally going to do sonlight core 100 in seventh and try and find something for 8th, now I'm wondering about using this with the G3 classes which are over two years (7th and 8th) for the same period with the same Hakim books. This migh allow more detail and depth. Any experience with either the class or the books?

Darn, I'm looking at the books a little more and see they are aimed at 9-12 year olds. My DD would be 11 and 12 doing it with two years. I wonder if that will be to old?
