Is this method multisensory? Could it be adapted to be multisensory?

Has anyone ever tried it? Just curious.

Thanks,
Sheila

I use it and like it. It is multisensory only in the sense that it has children write the sounds as they say them.

You could use letter tiles or tokens yourself.

There is a yahoo email group that is helpful. You can sign up from the main ABCD site.

We used letter tiles with Reading Reflex (Phonographix). They were in the book to cut out, but I just bought a cheap plastic set at Wal-Mart.

One thing you to take into consideration is that though OG has research support, the multi-sensory part of OG has yet to have research support. Generally, Phonographix method works much faster than OG, so you can tell within a month or two if it's going to work and there should be significant progress.

This is what I saw with ds. He progressed quickly with ABeCeDarian. He went to barely reading cvc words to easy chapter books in a few months.
