Talk to me about Jensen's grammar...

I'm sure it's been brought up here many times, but I'd like some input from those who are using it or have in the past.

The lessons are pretty straight forward. You read the lesson and then do the exercises on the following page. Occasionally, I had to go to the internet to better understand a concept that the I couldn't understand after reading the lesson. My ds's biggest gripe was that it was pretty dry, but I was glad to find a curriculum that just got the job done because I wanted that, 8th grade, to be our last year of formal grammar. Also, there is no diagramming, which is a turnoff for some people. Overall, I recommend it if you don't need fun lessons to keep you student learning. BTW, I still don't understand gerunds!
