Hi everyone,
We're still trying to decide what we will be using for Algebra. I own Dolciani's text, c.2000, but I'd like to know if I should order the TM and Solutions Manual. Which would be the most helpful?
Is it a problem to find these items used? Is my best bet just to buy it from McDougall Litell?
Thanks!

We've never cracked our TM, but use our Solutions Manual all the time. YMMV, of course.

and I have used both throughout the year. The TM has additional examples of problems, alternative tests (from the ones in the book), and teaching guides for three types of students (how many problems to assign from which sections to get through the book in a year for "minimum," "average," and "maximum" course).
The solutions manual is just that, solutions. I've used mine a few times this year when I got stuck on something.
Mid-year I ordered the worksheet book. I began introducing the worksheets and both ds and I have really liked them.
I found the prices at ML very competitive to those I found on Amazon. In some cases, cheaper. It's worth a phone call.
