On file and documented than private testing you might have done?
I've spoken with a few people who've used ps testing throughout the years to create a paper trail of their child's learning disabilities. Then used that as far as applying to colleges.
Is there a difference in what colleges will consider acceptable forms of testing? Will public school testing provide more of what colleges would look for than private testing? Or is there no difference?
In PA, if I have testing done through the public school, I may very well set my sons up for required IEPs as well as objectives that would have to be approved each school year by a special educator. So I want to be careful about how much I involve the public school system. But... if using them is better for showing a paper trail, I am willing to do so. While I don't see my older son going to college, I can see my younger son doing so.
