without opening up each thread?

I miss being able to scroll up and find posts from the poster whose advice you nearly always learn something from. This is particularly important to me on the curriculum board....any help?
Thanks

I also miss the one line replies with NT at the end. It made things faster....

But there doesn't seem to be a way to do it. I really like being able to scan the original post and all its replies without having to open each post separately. Lots of times I wouldn't know I was even interested in a post without seeing some of the replies!

Before you open a particular thread, try letting your cursor rest on the title of the thread. You should see a little box pop up with the first few lines of the first post. It might be enough to give you an idea of the content.

Or just go to the top of the board and click on "New Posts". It will show you the newest posts in each section.

You can search for posts by user name if you want to find all the posts by a specific person.
