Jewelry making question

How do I make braided and jeweled bracelets and necklaces. We went to an art/craft show this weekend and fell in love with these bracelets and necklaces. They were braided cord with beads in them. Surely it cant be that hard to make?!

Assuming the jewelry is what I think it is, you should be able to get all the supplies you would need at a Michael's (plus a book or two on how to do it). Basically you twist fine wire with pliers and string beads as you do it. You might need a clamp (to hold one end of the wires stable).
