I will be thinking of her hard this weekend.
Is this like the coast guard exams mine will have to take?

Saying a prayer for her. I can't believe how fast the time has gone, that she is at this point already!

It went VERY well! Her comprehensive exams were tough, but with one exception, she thinks she really nailed them. Her recital was wonderful. It was a very emotional time (she lost her fiance' in June) but she kept it together and showed the emotion in the music. She won't actually know her grade for several months, but she should be fine! Thanks for those prayers. She's now driving halfway across NE for a friend's wedding! Ah, youth!

Margaret, I'm so glad to hear her recital went well. I would have loved to hear it! Somehow I missed the news about your daughter's fiance- I went back to find it. I see you made a couple of posts while I was away in Guatemala. Anyway, I am so sorry to hear about her loss. To be able to have music as an outlet for her emotion- how wonderful!
I had a funny thought- remembering how your daughter was working in my nearest city not too long ago. My musical daughter transferred schools this term and is now living in CO!

She really doesn't know. Probably not more graduate school after she graduates in May. Of course the plan was to be married whilst her dh was in med school, but that's not happening. She would have been able to head back to her pile of small symphonies in the Midwest that she'd played with several years ago. She and her sis are planning to hike the John Muir Trail for a month after Commissioning for her sis in May--other than that, I don't know. She'd like to stay in CO but that probably won't happen.

I hope that the hike with her sister will be a wonderful experience and that options will open up for her. I really can't imagine how difficult it must be for her to have suffered such a loss at such a young age. I wish her well.

Thank you. She's a remarkable young lady, but it's been hard...
