Wierd schedule this week. Have school or not?

Monday is the last day of testing - no school
Tuesday "they" are coming about 11 to clean out everything from 80% of the downstairs. School is possible.
Wednesday "they" are laying a new floor in 80% of the downstairs. Possibly moving everything back in as well. School is possible.
Thursday is co-op. "They" will be doing touch-up paint. School is possible but short.
Friday is Good Friday and we take the day off.

I was planning on just grammar, math and wrapping up whatever didn't get done last week. Maybe spelling, new Bible verse.

The other kink in the plans is that dh announced this weekend that he needs a vacation. I asked about pushing is out until we finish school about mid-April. He wants to go in as little as a week (right after Easter), but is willing to wait and go in 3 (April 5-11). So I hate to take time off now that isn't absolutely necessary.

Who are "they"???

I would take advantage of homeschooling flexibility and not try to do much with all of that other activity going on. My vote would be to skip school on the busy days. I would also vote for going on vacation at the time that dh needs it. Children can always pick up curriculum where they left off.

I would use the week only for catch up. Then you can start fresh after this crazy week.

Agreed..........a week later is'nt going to kill anyone, and isn't this one of the beauties of homeschooling.........taking off when we can??
