I'd like to do a semester (or possibly year) studies for 9th grade environmental studies. Any texts or curriculums out there?

My 8th grade ds is taking an Environmental Science one-semester course at a local university, and they use the textbook Miller: Sustaining the Earth, 8th Edtiion. The professor has his notes (slides) and coursework on the school webpage, which you could peruse. My son is really enjoying the class, and I don't think it would be too much for a ninth grader.

The Prentice Hall Science Explorer Series has one on Environmental Science. ISBN 0134344863
You can also find some good ones through used text books on Amazon or B&N. I know there is another text bk finder, but I think you need the name or isbn?
