Is BCM enough to be prepared for algebra, or are there other prealgebra topics that should be covered first? Thanks for any input!

My non-mathy dd used BCM then went straight into Lial's Introductory Algebra without any trouble.

I've also taught other students who used BCM and moved on to Algebra 1 (Introductory Algebra) again without any trouble.

I really like the way BCM covers each topic 'from the beginning' so the student can see the whole concept (it runs through the basics quickly and spends more time on the 'newer' or more complex problems). Most traditional Pre-Algebra texts assume prior knowledge and jump into the middle of concepts. When a student gets to see the whole picture they tend to retain more.

I LOVE BCM!
