Dolciani Algebra I question, please....

We're using a Brown, Dolciani text for algebra this year. I seem to recall in past that there were concerns about using the California edition of this (or some) texts. Am I wrong? Does anyone know of any problems with California editions of algebra texts?

We haven't run into any major problems yet, but there have already been a couple of times when the teaching method was sort of weird.....
