It is my understanding that you only qualify for some $$ if you make over $3000/yr. Is that right?
My mom works for her church (read: ministry work) and my dad called to say that she brought home $2964 last year. My dad on the other hand, has his own business which has been struggling to stay alive for years. He has consistently shown a loss. I don't believe he pays taxes himself because he takes the money out of the business. Does this mean they are NOT eligible for any money from this stimulation package? They were really hoping they would, and it seems sad that the people who would need it the most (making less than $3000) wouldn't qualify. But I'm sure there's more to it....
Any info would be great. Thanks!
