Boy what a STORM!! The tornados were northwest of us, but we did get the hail!!

We had hail this afternoon. Since nothing bad happened, it was pretty cool. Our deck was covered.

I am worried about Abbeyj, because I think she lives in the city.

That was wild... WSB showed the second tornado to go through Atlanta, but thankfully not as bad as last night. So sad to hear the news out of Polk County. I hope the husband makes it, but his home and wife are gone.

I'm posted in another thread about this, but I and my family are okay. Dh had a breakfast meeting in midtown this morning, and the place where they had planned to meet was closed because of damage. He said there was a lot more as he drove through midtown and downtown. It's amazing how few injuries have been reported given the magnitude of the storm hitting in a major metropolitan area. But we went to a birthday party this afternoon with a bunch of other in-town families (many of them home schoolers), and everyone made it in just fine.
