LOL! It has always been my hope that someone in my family would be able to fix things. We all try but I, my dh, my mom, my dad, my brother...cannot fix anything. We are all totally helpless. My ds is in his last 7 weeks of high school taking duel enrollment classes. He was on spring break this week and decided to make a skateboard. He got directions from You Tube, bought all the equipment and made an awesome skateboard in our garage. He rode it today and it works! He is so proud of himself and I am proud, too. It reminded my of my grandfather who used to work on all types of wood projects and could fix anything. He passed away when I was in 9th grade and I always wished I could have learned from him. Maybe we have a fix it person after all.
