All of the curriculum is ordered, except for the Song School Latin and Greek (I cannot pre-order the Greek yet, and I'd really like to not have to pay shipping 2 separate times!). I am *NOT* going to read the curriculum boards and start second guessing my choices (well, ok...I'll just not second guess my choices).

Now off for some real R&R....

I just put in my last order this week too. There are a couple of items I plan to look at when we go to our homeschool book fair in May, but they aren't critical. I would also like to purchase the new Zoology III when it is released at the end of May; it's a non-critical item too.

I know how good that feels!

Unfortunately, as a book/curriculum addict, I kept buying more. ;) The good thing is, although I'm not currently HS'ing full time, I still use all the books, especially the history/science/language.

A big pat on the back for a BIG job DONE!

YAH for you!!! I haven't actually placed my final order, but I have written it up with the order numbers and such on one piece of paper. I am planning on ordering on Monday. It is a good feeling isn't it?

Yet, I will still go to the curriculum boards and I will still question my order. Sigh, that never changes!

What'd'ya get? I just finished ordering too. Feels good, doesn't it? Also, all day yesterday I got to tell the kids I was working on a proposal -- to Dad -- and all day today, a purchase order! ;) :D Realized I'm gonna need another bookshelf, though. :tongue_smilie:

I am happy for you since you're relieved, but I've gotta ask...When do you start the next school year? No way would I want to order things already in March. Of course, I don't have much to order ~ except for Sonlight Core 7. As a long-time SL user, I love going through the catalog (to be mailed this week), even though I have most of it memorized.:)

We start up in July. I take June off. After that, it just gets to hot and buggy here to be out much. We may as well work. Then in spring, we can taper off early. And we can take breaks throughout the year when we need to.

I am ordering some things I know I will need next year. And I am ordering a couple of things that will take time for me to digest (IEW's TWSS and Teaching the Classics). I want to have time to think about things and look at the books here and there before we need them. It also gives me drive this time of year when things get kind of yucky with burn out.
