I've got stuff to make chicken pot pie, & I've got 2 dc who. will. clean. with me.

But the question is: what do you serve with pot pie? I've wondered this all of my adult life.

She knows how I cook & how I clean, & she loves me anyway,:D so it doesn't have to be fancy. But some maturity in my meal planning would be appreciated, at least by me!;)

I usually serve a salad.

I would just serve a salad or fresh fruit or both. The pot pie already has veggies so I'd go with the fresh fruit. I hope you have a great time!! :0

A green salad would be perfect.
It is a real struggle for me to get away from the feeling that I must serve several sides, bread, etc. with a meal, but I am finally realizing that it is okay to keep it simple.

Oh, yeah, if it were just us, I wouldn't think twice about it.
