I have Bowling Ball by Superchick stuck in my head. I want it out. I want it out now.

I took my 10 year old to her first concert last week, Superchick, of course. She used her allowance to buy the cd. She plays the Bowling Ball song over and over again. Loud. Really loud.

You need that boy like a bowling ball dropped on your head
Which means not at all....:willy_nilly:

I have had various songs from the Wicked soundtrack stuck in my head. This morning is "Popular".

We went to a high school production of Man of La Mancha last night, so I was singing The Impossible Dream over and over. Now, because I'm sick in the head, I have Phantom playing on iTunes, so I'll be stuck with All I Ask of You and Music of the Night. Superchick sounds pretty excellent to me right about now. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/happy009.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)

Yes, I've actually been spinning through a few all morning:

"You Must Meet My Wife" from "A Little Night Music"
"I'm Still Here" from "Follies"
and "Comedy Tonight" from "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum"

I guess I have Sondheim brain this morning.

What's "Bowling Ball"?

But of course, dawlin'!! I added you to the list. Send me some pms. Well, not pms because I can generate my own pms, but you know what I mean!

One mention of pms and I've forgotten what I wanted to say.

Erm, actually yes. We watched Hustle and Flow last night, so I have "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" stuck in my head. Is that an inappropriate response for this site? :leaving:

Everything you want is here at this might be a wiki (http://tmbw.net/wiki/The_Mesopotamians).

I had it sent to her at school. She opened it walking back to her room, looked at her friend, grinned, and said, "My mom is soooooo weird!" She was a big hit at study hall that night, what with the ancient history teacher on duty. And she got at least four questions right on the exam.

My son and I went to an Irish music and storytelling program yesterday. The program was great, in fact the woman was so good that I cannot get the song Bog Down in the Valley (Raitlin Bog) out of my head. Walking through the grocery store I was singing
O-ro the rattlin' bog, the bog down in the valley-o
O-ro the rattlin' bog, the bog down in the valley-o.... :glare:
