Paperwork is flowing over every work surface in my house. It is peeking out of over-stuffed files and threatening to overtake our lives. Due to a number of circumstances: chronic pain for the last few years, chronic fatigue, an allergy to paperwork some of this paperwork is actually years old! Lately, despite having the coughing crud for the last 2 1/2 weeks, I've been actually feeling like I have a brain and some energy to use it.
So this is my brag/ praise/ victory dance:
1. I have 2/3 of our taxes done!
2. I have all of our current bills paid or marked on the calendar and in a file to be paid (I actually was pretty good about this even when ill).
3. Dh has taken over correcting the last 2 months of 5th grade math! (He is also going over those problems ds10 got wrong and is explaining them to him!)
4. I actually went through the last of last year's schoolwork and have thrown out all un-necessary schoolwork! I save the chapter tests and a few sample pages of work in each subject.
Of course, this just the tip of the ice berg but I wanted to share my joy. :hurray: :cheers2: :party:
