I would like my dd to take the ACT for her state required end of grade test. What math and science is needed to do well on this test? Thank you, Angela

But the science isn't science content as much as science reasoning -- reading graphs, interpreting arguments and data, etc. Of course it won't hurt to be familliar with the topics, but it's not strictly necessary. Math is heavy on Algebra 1 with a good bit of Geometry and a little Algebra 2 with a tiny tiny bit of Trig (just right angle triangles). Sometimes they throw in a problem that looks much harder than it is, with more complicated trigonometry or something, but enough hints to make it a simple logic problem.

But definitely pick up a test prep book and take a look -- it's easier not to panic when you've seen a little of it before!
