I was scratching my head for a minute there, thinking "You're buying all of that for $8!!???" then I realized you're just wanting to spend $8 more for free shipping, LOL. I have no idea what I would buy though, sorry.

Usually if I have just a small amount to spend I buy a game or something fun that I wouldn't normally buy. That said, do you have the Evan-Moore Science reproducible book? It is awesome!

If you use a magnetic board, they have white write on/wipe off magnets. They are about 1"x3". We use them for Latin and vocabulary all the time.

Those cool Combi pencil sharpeners. Some math manipulatives?

Definitely the game Set. We bought it for our son at Christmas (he was almost 7 at the time) and my husband and I have played it almost every night. We love it!:)

I would probably either buy a game or a book. Probably historical fiction...

I wish I had the weighted Base-10 blocks. Each little cm square weighs exactly 1 gram, tens weigh 10 grams, etc. Very cool

Definitely the game Set.
A second vote for Set! It's both fun and educational.

I bought this set of 24 for $4 at the beginning of the year for DD3 to use as her "school pencils":
http://www.rainbowresource.com/product/Prang+Fun+Pro+24-Color+Pencil+Set/002224/1205549939-1231518
I wasn't sure if they were going to be cheesy or not, but they have worked out to be great! I had also purchased the more expensive Prismacolor set, but I don't think they are worth it for the coloring we do - history pics and basic elementary sketches and drawings. The Prang were just fine IMO.
So, a couple of those plus a sharpener and you'll have your $8!
(Make sure to let us know what you get, OK? ;-))
