My 9th grade daughter will have about 12 weeks left in the school year when she finishes VideoText Algebra. She could start VT Geometry right away, but I thought it might be a good idea to take those few weeks and use other material to test that she really learned the VT material. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might work well to do that? I will use the VT worksheets online but I would also like to use non-VT material as I have found that a good way to check comprehension is to change to a different publisher.
Thanks.

I was in a similar situation with my son a couple of years ago, and found it helpful to use ALEKS as a reinforcement/review resource.

Thanks. That was one thing I was considering as I really like ALEKS.

If I have extra time this year, I plan to spend some time on word problems. I have Singapore 6B challenging word problems & the Algebra I word problems from Critical Thinking.
If I had even more time, I might do Calculus by & For Kids, just to warm ds up to the idea. It's made for even younger kids, but hey, it's calculus :)
