I'm curious about the discussion of the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers contained in this course. Can someone give me an idea of the extent and nature of the coverage? Do the students read each of the two books in its entirety or just excerpts?
Thanks.

No, they don't read both in their entirety. They read Federalist 10, 14, 15, 47, 51, and 84, along with anti-Federalist readings from Patrick Henry (speech June 5, 1788), Centinel 1, Brutus 1, and John DeWitt II.
I think they give pretty decent coverage, but I would add the excellent Teaching Company course called "The Great Debate," by Professor Thomas Pangle (best purchased on sale, of course). I cannot recommend this course highly enough for a wonderful understanding of the issues in this debate.
