Help! "How Nature Works" is out of print! Any alternatives?

I am beginning to plan next year's curriculum for ds 5th, and it appears one of the main science spines, How Nature Works by Burnie, is out of print. I'm going to be cruising the used book sales, but is anyone aware of a good alternative text? Thanks!

I just got mine, used, from amazon.com. I also went ahead and searched out the other books in the series, since they seem to be out of print, too. I was able to find them all on amazon.com.

There are plenty of copies available on Amazon.com, Half.com, etc.
