I was trying to reply to a specific question asked of me, and I somehow ended up in what looked to me to be a totally new thread..can I reply to one post, or does it all go in chronologically?
Thanks,
Nancy.

I'm wondering if you replied to a post in the middle of a thread. It does put your post at the current end of the thread, so it might seem like a whole new thread. If someone asked you a question, I would think they would check the thread to see if you replied, so they will more than likely see your post. If you wait a long time to reply (days), or if a thread is especially long and you are replying to an early post, there is the risk that the person might not see your reply. All the more reason to regularly check back on threads in which you have interest. :)
