For those of us who wanted to see BJU stuff or wondered why they weren't going to be there this year, apparently things have been worked out, and they ARE!!!!! I just got back word from their convention coordinator that they were able to get in! So I'm not sure what all happened, but apparently the emails and things got the ball rolling and BJU will have a rep and booth. Terrific news for us! :)

And just to update the convention food discussion, I just emailed the Cincy people about that too. I was mentioning to my dh, and he said maybe it wasn't too late to fix it on their part if they don't have a better plan for this year! So we'll see. I told them I'm PREGNANT and they better have food!!!!! And not hamburgers!!!!!! LOL :)

LOL I don't know. When I saw a man with a residential grill and what appeared to be boxes of burgers from GFS or the fastest place they could find, I walked the other way, bleh. Actually, in the email I sent them, I suggested they get it catered and have some REAL food options, something figure-friendly that women would like. Their real problem is they don't have adequate kitchen facilities in the vendor hall to do anything, even though it's the logical place to vend the food. Sure hope they get their act together, or it's gonna be a long three days... I'm bringing plenty of food myself to be sure and there's a Ruby Tuesdays up the road with a terrific salad bar and soups.

And, btw, I think the 15th or 16th is the last day to pre-register. Price at the door is a bit higher I think.

I'm preggo too (but at least out of the "I must eat now or I will be sick" stage) - so let us know if you hear back from them. Thanks!

Oh, I doubt they'll write back. They never wrote back about the BJU thing either. I assume they're swamped right now. I'm not going to take any chances on the food. I'll take a cooler with enough snacks, fruit, smoothies, soup with pop lids, etc. so I'll have all my breakfasts, snacks and lunch, only really needing to eat out supper. We're staying at a B&B and I've already asked to use their frig to keep salad vegetables. Let's just say I take food very seriously, lol. I'm getting past the sick stage too and feeling better (13 weeks, yippee!), but I can still slay a bear or whomp an elephant if you get between me and food. ;)
