Near Chicago IL and interested in getting together?

Hello all, I'm mom to a 4-year-old boy and 2-year-old twin girls. I'd love to find other Chicago-area homeschooling families with whom to get together, especially families with whom I could discuss curricula and the WTM educational approach. We're low-key, informal, and we always have extra sidewalk chalk and snacks (plus, I don't mind if your kids jump on my couch!).

Your kids are quite a bit younger than mine, but I am familiar with some fantastic support groups where you might find some friends. Do you want to pm me with a general idea of where you are? Chicago is a big place. :)

I don't know if you're still looking, but we are in the north suburbs and would love to meet some other hs families in the Chicago area. We, too, are low-key. I used to teach science in the public schools in California. But, I'm loving teaching my own kids now. We follow WTM with a secular approach.
