My 14dd just had the Woodcock Johnson test done and it shows a wide range of scores.
Her GIA is 35, K.2 grade level
Her cognitive efficiency is 6, less than K
Her working memory is 15, less than K
Brief achievement is 50, 2nd grade, 2nd month
Brief reading 51, 2nd grade, 2nd month
Sound blending 87, 4th grade, 1st month
auditory working memory 42, less than K
Word Identification 58, 2nd grade, 7th month
Auditory working memory 42, less than K
Numbers Reversed 13, less than K
She had scaled scores from 6-87 with grade levels from preschool to 4th grade.
Does anyone else have a child with cognitive impairment that also shows some LDs? Really though her academic achievement is ABOVE her IQ scores---so maybe she is an over achiever???
We know that her working memory scores really pull her down and do affect her. We are trying to switch seizure meds to see if the meds might be an issue or if this is part of her mitochondrial disorders or brain injury (she was likely a shaken baby) or ????
