What do you think of Trail Guide to Us and the accompanying Notebooking CD?

What did you think about this geography course? How did you implement it?

I thought it was a bunch of busy work. BUT, my goals for US Geography were not very lofty, either. I wanted my dc (11, 9, 8, 6) to have a grasp of where the states were, capitals, perhaps a bit of geography of the regions, etc. Honestly, I used maybe the maps off the CD and *maybe* one other page for my oldest b/c she was the most interested. For my dc, we needed something a bit more "creative" than filling out notebooking pages. If your plans are to spend a good bit of time on US Geography, then the notebooking pages and book might work better for you. For us, we only spent an hour or so each week on a state and soon fizzles out to nothing b/c it was last on our priority list. You might have better luck with it.
