My dd is taking French in ps this year. I'd like to be able to help her when I can. She will also be having surgery in November, which will keep her at home for 6-8 weeks. Even though she will have tutor, I think it would be helpful if I knew some French as well.

I have a basic French book, and the "Practice Makes Perfect" grammar workbook, but I'd like to do some practicing online as well, as it will hopefully give me the audio pronunciation.

Thanks!

My daughter is in her third year of taking French through the Potter's School. The teacher is Madame Starosciak for all levels.

I am a former French major and have been extremely pleased. I really don't have to do a thing on my end.

So . . . a definite recommendation from us. :)

There's a nice, informal type site called www.livemocha.com
My son enjoys it.
