so I can't help you with that. I've read the book to the kids and I have the unabridged cds. I believe they come in three parts. We've listened to the cds in the car mostly, and we've really enjoyed then. Most importantly, the kids got a lot out of them. They are really well done and worth every penny. The kids memorized the names of the kings and queens, Egbert through Elizabeth II, this year and listening to these stories put action and adventure with the names instead of just memorizing names.:001_smile:

I didn't think there were different editions, either, besides the titles - one is called Our Island Story and the other An Island Story. I think the content of both books is the same, though.
