Hi, we are still in need of a good microscope and thus need some good sites for our first Apologia Human Body Biology Lab. I need to go elsewhere to view the slides on the internet [since we still have dial up] to get the biology labs done online for the first month of so of biology labs.

I need to ''plan'' from home a list of sites to check out for Wednesday's first lab which is a microscope lab of the human lung, stomach and skin w/o follicles to study reaql epithelial tissue.

Any guidance on what sites to look at on Weds. 9/23. [I'm asking now because I will be at the library helping my high schooler while supervising quite a few children at the same time. I know planning ahead will help.]

I know how to do google images, just hoping to speed up which sites to look at.

Thanks in advance.

this is just off the top of my head, but maybe try Cells Alive! (probably cellsalive.com, but I am not sure of the exact name) They have some good animations of mitosis and meiosis, as well as some great slide images. I think some of them you might have to pay for, but I know some are free. Hope this helps

Just for fun, keep this handy for when you are doing genetics - google dragon genetics lab, and you should find some fun labs to choose from that you can modify to do with a few students at home. This was a hit with my son and his two lab buddies. I am sorry that I can't link anything for you - I had to get a new computer recently, and I lost all my bookmarks.
Blessings,
