Is there a 'right' grade to do US Gov't?

I am working out some planning and was wondering if there was an optimum time for working in US Gov't or Econ.

Well, I was mulling this over, outloud in front of the HSLDA booth a few years ago and the fellow piped up, "You HAVE to do it election year!" And he was right! We did a barebones AO gov't course, so she had time to read good books (had to have the AO to keep NARS happy--stupid waste of time) and work on some campaigns. it was great! So, I'd try to work it in fall of '08.

This is how we schedule it as well :-)
We're doing gvt this semester, and civics in the fall. He's only in 8th this year, but will be in 9th for civics, lol.

I thought Civics is government or am I just dumbfounded?

For me, i usually see the difference as Gvt =academic knowledge, Civics= actual participation.

I'm sure many people have different ideas of how they word it. I bookmarked the following for course descriptions: they include separate gvt and civics courses.
