Reading Sugg. 6th gr.

PH reading level. I am having a hard time finding books that are advanced but with themes that are not mature. This is my first year hmsclng. and the suggested reading list from her curriculum is too easy for her. I want books with advanced vocab. She just turned 11. She likes girly books and mystery.

Enola Holmes Mysteries (Springer) - 2nd book was a little bizarre, but all the others were quite good. The series isn't finished yet.

Most of the 9-13yo girls in our hs group have gone nuts over the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. She has 3 series about the warrior cat clans so far and the first book of her 4th series is coming out next month.
