We're considering Singing Coach (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006NAB8W) software for the 10yo next year. Any one used it?

We're afraid to take him to a voice teacher. Besides the cost, we'd have to figure out a way to tell them, "just make his voice not painful," without insulting him. Anyway I think the voice professionals around here won't take kids who aren't already at least decent. We just want to correct his tendency to sing flat. He can correct when he's being coached; he just needs to practice with a coach. And I can't possibly sit with him for as many hours a day as he wants to practice. He loves to sing.

I have a Mac and with them, software which is compatible with our OS generally works on all of the recent operating systems. My partner's laptop, which we'd be using for Singing Coach, is running Vista and this software says that it works for ME, XP and 2000. Will it not work on Vista at all?

some programs work just fine.... some don't at all.... like my older version of rosetta stone. :banghead: and a phonics program i bought for the kiddoes :banghead: but if it works, be sure to let us know because that sounds like something i could use for myself!
