Can the Math Card Games Kit from RS be used if we don't use RS itself?

I am on the fence with math programs for my 8 yo, but I know he needs math facts help so I was thinking of the Math Card Games Kit for him and also using the AL Abacus when we are doing his regular math, what ever that might be.

This is exactly how I got started with RightStart Math. First we bought and used the games and liked them, then we bought and used the Transition lessons, and now we are waiting for RS D to arrive. The games and transitions alone have really helped ds9 and I thought about continuing on with our R&S math now that he has been "remediated" but we both really like RS.

We have used both the RS card games and the ALAbacus activites along with Saxon for fact practice and now are using it alongside Singapore. Works well!
