In the sample pages on the website I noticed that grammar, Aristotilien (sp?) logic, and Classical Rhetoric courses are recommended to be used with Aesop. Are you using all of these courses?

Can you give a link to the page you are looking at? I don't recall the recommendation for those courses with CW Aesop, and I certainly didn't use them with my boys. The additional courses you noted are usually high school level subjects.

The only things I've seen recommended in my years of CW work are:
Harvey's Elementary Grammar
TWRTR or SWR for spelling (the markings are encouraged in the vocab analysis)
Mary Daly's Book of Diagrams (as a resource)

I you go to lulu.com and click on the Aesop book and then the sample pages, I believe it is on page 6 of the introduction in the book. If you didn't use those books, was there something else you used along with CW Aesop?

The introduction is talking about the books that you'll want to use as you go through the entire program. Nothing else is needed to go with Aesop. CW doesn't require a separate grammar program until Homer.

Angelina is right. The books you mention are for later use with Classical Writing.
The course in Aristotelian logic is mentioned for use "when the student has completed a solid grammar course, but no later than Herodotus." Herodotus is for students 9th grade and above.
And the course in classical rhetoric is recommended for when the student finishes the logic course.
So, no, none of that is needed for students in Aesop.
Edited to Add: Here a link to a page from the CW website that you might find helpful. It will allow you to see the different CW books recommended for different student levels.

You can see that Herodotus is recommended for 9th grade.
