Just yesterday (Literally) she was playing with her Little Tykes playhouse. I'm glad homeschooling has given her the freedom to be able to play like a little girl still when she wants. It's scary & fun trying to look ahead at what the teenage years may bring. It seems as if I have very little time left with her & wondering how our relationship will change & mature. I've mostly liked what I've seen so far. Well, off to make waffles for the Birthday girl!
;)Doran, I can guess your snarky thoughts on my post title here, having just read your funny titles post. he, he he,

Congratulations to you both. We have five teens now, but only til June. Then the oldest turns 20.

I think that the teen years are my second-favorite season of life, after newborn.
I am a bit sad that the teens go by so quickly!:auto:

My dd is 10 today. It's so bizarre. She's reached a stage of sensitivity and drama earlier than I thought. But then she's my cuddly easy going girl sometimes too! Have a great day with your daughter! I was still playing "dress up" at 13! The freedom is great, isn't it?
