After Easy Grammar Plus

:confused:After we finished Easy Grammar Plus in 7th grade, we started Abeka's Grammar and Composition 9th grade for our 8th grader.
It was ok but quite intense compared to Easy Grammar Plus. Now as we begin 9th grade, I am wondering what to do for grammar now. Should we do Abeka's 10th or Rod and Staff's 9th/10th(since we aren't crazy about Abeka)? Which would be better for grammar?

R&S's last two books have significant writing as well as grammar, as opposed to ABeka, which has, well, significant grammar and some writing. If you're wanting only grammar, you might look at EPS's Stewart English Program (http://www.epsbooks.com/dynamic/catalog/series.asp?seriesonly=2344M), and then something else for writing.
