Am I the only one who has to put something in the subject line to post? Rachel has been successful in only placing words in the message box (which *has* to have a minimum of 10 characters) but I also find that I have to put something in the subject line as well. I'm curious what you guys are experiencing in this arena....

I don't use the subject line, and when I read I tend to go right to the message. When it doesn't make sense, I remember to check for a subject!

So, Crissy, to clarify - you can post a message without putting anything in the subject line??

I am posting *this* message without putting anything in the Title box.

What did you put in the subject line the last time you posted? I don't see anything there.

Could it be that the initial post of a thread must have a title?

Well.....my posts above that don't have a subject line content are "quick reply" entries. But, anything I try to initiate on my own (non quick reply) requires a subject.

I am wanting to see if I can post without using title, so this is a test...sorry to hijack.:o

it works for me now, yeah! I wonder if on your first few posts it makes you put something in title and after a few you don't have to. Well that is what worked for me....thanks guys..oops, ladies/gents!

I think you have to have something in the subject line when you start a new thread. If you're replying in a thread that's already started, you don't need to put anything in the subject line.
